The Energy Minister, John Peter Amewu says the recent power outages is not as serious as what Ghanaians experienced under the erstwhile National Democratic Congress (NDC) government.
In recent weeks, residents in some parts of Accra and Kumasi have lamented the unannounced power outages in their areas.
This has sparked concerns of a possible return to days of rationed power supply, popularly referred to as “dumsor”.
Responding to this, the Energy Minister said the current situation can be described as “dumsor”, but added that what was experienced under the NDC government for three years was “dum kuraa”.
