An electrician electrocuted when trying to fix a faulty wire on a pole.

An electrician lost his life while working on a transformer, on Wednesday, in Eliozu, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Female Police Constable in leaked ‘atopa’ tape speaks

Unknown to her, the friend sent a copy to himself which he later tried using to blackmail her and when she could not raise the stated amount, he released it to close friends who in turn showed it to others before it went viral.

“I am very sorry for my conduct but this is what really happened. I am pulling myself to together and have learnt a lot of lessons. I do not even think I will want to own a phone with a camera”, she revealed.



The mother of one confirmed she recorded the video weeks ago which was intended for her boyfriend only identified as James, a Ghanaian based in Italy but it unfortunately landed in the wrong hands culminating in the leakage.


A close relation had earlier told MyNewsGh.com the sister after dumping the father of her child who is also a policeman, started seeing this James gentleman and it was during one of their interactions he demanded such a video to feast his eyes.

Being naïve and overly consumed by love, the police constable produced the video but instead of sending it to the fiancé in question, she mistakenly sent it to James’ friend but before it could be deleted, he had downloaded it and started the forwarding it to others.

Out of shame after the video went viral, she abandoned her official duties and has relocated to a town in the Bono East Region and changed her phone numbers though relations are said to be in touch.

The lady revealed she is going through counseling and will soon overcome the trauma.

Actress Commits Suicide Over The Fear Of Being Called Ugly

 

A promising young woman has ended her life in a most sad manner over fear that she's ugly. A 19-year-old aspiring actress, with the name, Shante Stephenson, committed suicide by hanging over the fear that she was ugly.
 
Shante, would often compare herself to friends online, was struggling with low self-esteem over her appearance and after recently losing her job.
 
Tragically, Walthamstow Coroners’ Court heard the teen had taken her life just a week after being assessed as “no longer in crisis” by the NHS.
 
The inquest also heard Shante was supposed to have medication delivered to her the day she died but it was delivered two days late.
 


Dr William Travers, at the time a consultant psychiatrist with the Impart home treatment team, said he had met the teen a week after one of her first suicide attempts.
 
He said,

“It seemed to have been triggered by an experience she had performing a role in a theatre show case, she didn’t think she performed it well, and she was dwelling on it, replaying it over and over in her mind.”

 

Dr Travers added the teen revealed how she had struggled with her weight and feelings of being inadequate. He said, “She told me that since the age of 11 she was focused on not being good enough, with regard to her career ambitions and her physical appearance in particular.

There was pandemonium on Tuesday, 16th April 2019, over an incident which occured at Apapa boundary in Ajegunle area of Lagos.  It was gathered that a boy named Kola Mutiu popularly known as ‘Black Jesus’, was trying to collect money from a trailer driver before he was crushed to death in the process.

 According to eyewitnesses, the boy (Black Jesus) was following the trailer driver whom he was trying to collect money from but the driver refused to settle him. The driver was trying to get away from the boy by driving fast not knowing that he (Kola) was running after the trailer, that was when the victim was hit and crushed.


 He was later rushed to the nearest hospital where he was confirmed dead as reported by Naijapals.com

It was scooped that the army tried to stop people from beating the trailer driver. When the area boys heard that Black Jesus had died, they turned on the soldiers, as they destroyed their vehicle and also beat them severely.
