Pope Skinny and Ara B finally unite after their fight

“The enemy of my enemy is my friend” is an ancient proverb that rappers Pope Skinny and Ara B have decided to take full advantage of now as the latest information available to zionfelix.net has it that after their long-standing disagreement, they have finally decided to smoke the peace pipe.

In a Snapchat post of the Asuoden Music CEO sighted by zionfelix.net, he reveals that DMX and Paa Tee were the two people who decided to broker this peace deal among them. He adds that he willing decided to accept this peace deal because he feels life is too short for humans to continue to hate.

Pope Skinny also stresses that there is no need for a grown a$$ man like himself to continue behaving like a child who always has scores to settle with his friends in school. Let us allow love to lead, let us practice what we preach, it is all love, all some of the philosophical statements Pope Skinny writes on his handle when he makes this peace deal public.

This news of their peace deal will sound refreshing for some of their fans who wanted their beef to end, especially the ones who watched Ara B’s interview on the ‘Uncut’ show recently, where he spoke about how badly Pope Skinny treated him in the Shatta Movement empire, after he (Ara B) brought him in.

Lifestyle: The 4 Poverty Languages

Lifestyle: The 4 Poverty Languages
The 4 Poverty Languages
When a group of people are placed in a room, how they think becomes evident. The poor amongst them speak a particular language because they have been brought up as such. The wealthy, on the other hand, think far differently from the others because of their exposure. Poverty is a mindset and then it becomes a character.
Mindset is cause. Every other thing is effect. Who a man is and will ever become largely depends on how he has been fashioned to think. The fruits we will ever bear in this life are largely dependent on the seeds of thoughts that have been consistently sown into us. If you want to change a man, thus, first change how he thinks. His character is a reflection of his exposure.
Poverty is a character. It is how a man consistently lives because of how he has consistently thought. If poverty were a fruit, a man’s thought patterns would be its seed. If people are sentenced to life imprisonment of poverty, it is because of their mindset which has eventually translated into character.
Being broke is not being poor. One is temporary and the other, permanent. One is a lack in the pocket. The other is a lack in character. Being broke is only for a period but a man who has been caught in the web of poverty will be continuously entangled if they don’t change how their perspectives.
Poverty has little to do with the absence of money but a lot to do with the absence of character. Poverty, like culture, is a way of life. No matter the amount of money that comes to one, if they don’t have the character to manage, they’d still be poor. A poor man’s wealth is not sustainable because he will keep making life choices that will take him back into the dungeons of poverty!
A poor man is a vulnerable man just like a poor nation is a vulnerable one, too. Anything is able to walk through its door. Every nonsense can walk up to them to negotiate. And… they will have little or no say.
Every poor person speaks a distinct language because poverty, like a nation, has a language. Poverty makes people think alike. Poor people are able to identify themselves because they speak almost the same language regardless of where and who they are.
“The language of excuses.”
The poverty game is a blame game. Poverty will always find an excuse why it can’t be rich. Poverty always has a pile of excuses it dishes out to others. Poor nations will be blaming their current state on some slave trade that took place when their forefathers were just a clot of blood. Poor people will blame their circumstances on their family background and what not. Poverty is a culture of excuses!
You see, poverty never wants to own up to anything. One sign of a poverty mentality is when there’s no sense of responsibility. A man must know that his destiny lies in his hands. By his daily choices, he molds this destiny. A people must know that what their nation will ever become largely depends on them. America is great because Americans are great. Rwanda is becoming great because Rwandans are becoming great.
Poverty always has one excuse or another to tell. It has long and boring folktales of why things are getting worse. Mr. Poverty assumes that everyone is responsible for his sorry state except him. A poor people are those who have been raised to think that they have never contributed a dime to their poverty!
“The language of waste.”
The irony of life is that the poor wastes resources more than the rich. Those who lack abuse their limited resources unlike those who have in abundance. Go to a wedding party. It is those who left nothing at the gift table who will take loads of food they can’t even eat while they go for extra plates to take home. Take a look at poor nations. Every resource that is abundant there is often left to rot while they clamor for importation of the finished product of those same resources.
Poverty reeks of waste― waste of time, resources and human capital and potential among others. It places no value on resources. A poor man may have a wealth of resources and still be as poor as a church mouse. A poor people will sit on great natural resources yet go beg from nations that rip them off these resources because they can’t manage such well. Thanks to waste and corruption.
Poverty makes a people live below their potential. It wastes resources both within and without.
Carefully observe the poor around you. There’s always something they have that they are generously wasting. There’s a resource they constantly waste while they labor in abject poverty. It’s a language they have so much proficiency in.
“The language of dependence.”
Poverty makes people assume that their help should always come from elsewhere. It makes them perpetually dependent despite all they have. When a people admit that they are indeed poor, they make others the breath of their lives. Without them, they can’t exist― literally.
A man or woman is drowning in poverty speaks the language of dependence so fluently. They are insecure in so many aspects of their lives― emotionally, financially, physically, spiritually, you name it. A mindset of poverty takes away our sense of self-reliance. A people who are bedridden with the poverty mentality are always dependent on others. Independence is only a mirage to them.
When a man wants to render a people perpetually poor, he first takes away their sense of dependence. He teaches them how to feel inferior about what they have. He fills them with thoughts that will destroy any foundation of independence in their lives. In that state, they will clutch on any straw to survive, even if it belongs to these slave masters.
“The language of ill-confidence.”
A poor people can always identify themselves with their dialect of inferiority. A mindset of poverty and pride can’t coexist. One needs to replace the other. When people are poor, their sense of confidence takes a nosedive. Nothing makes anyone more timid than poverty. Little wonder poor nations have the least say on global matters.
A language of ill-confidence buries one’s potentials. Poverty tears apart people’s gifts and talents. It makes them not even realize the great potential within them. Poverty suppresses people; a trait mistaken for humility. No poor man is truly humble.
A mindset of wealth is a mindset of confidence― great confidence. It commands. It orders. It demands what belongs to it.

Shatta Wale explains why he couldn't attend Willi Roi funeral

The final funeral rites of the late Willi Roi, Repertoire and Artiste manager at Zylofon Media, who died in the early hours of 10th February, 2019 at his residence at the Royal Reichester Hotel, East Legon was held yesterday 30th March, 2019.

As expected, many people turned up at the Valco Employees Recreational Arena (VERA) at community 4, the venue for the funeral, to pay their last respects to the legendary producer and artiste manager.

However, conspicuously missing was dancehall king Shatta Wale. It was unclear what had caused the absence of the dancehall king from the funeral of his friend and number one fan Willi Roi, but the dancehall king has defended himself in an interview, explaining why he was absent.

According to Shatta Wale, Willi Roi would understand that the work had to go on, because he had to prepare for the 3Music Awards. He explained that at the time of the interview he had gone for rehearsals towards his performance at the event, and Willi Roi being a good man would want him to be where he is supposed to be in his career.

Asked how people would take his absence, Shatta Wale said God knows his heart that he really respected Willi Roi even until his last day and went ahead to make reference to Terry Bonchaka, that he was also one person that supported his career very much but he was not able to make it to his funeral, however he makes time every year to visit his grave side to pay his respects.

Shatta Wale said people may say what they feel but at the right time he will visit Willi Roi’s grave side and pay his respects to him.

“Willi Roi calls me King, he knows how a king moves, and if today he is no more, he understands that if I was free I would have been there but since this awards is an award for me to take for him and surely I’m going to dedicate the topmost award to him by God’s grace if I get it and make sure that his soul rests in peace, so people can talk but I know Willi Roi is still in my heart”

Shatta Wale concluded that the passing of Willi Roi is a big blow to the music industry because he was someone who cared about artiste’s welfare and always told the truth even though people didn’t like his honesty.

Shatta Wale shatters 2019 3Music Awards, bags 8 awards

Arguably the most vilified artiste in Ghana walked home the most celebrated at the 2019 edition of the 3Music Awards.

It was simply an awards harvest for Shatta Wale who started trending for his grand entry into the 3Music Awards stage at the Fantasy Dome on Saturday night.

Hoisted up high, the controversial musician descended slowly and carefully onto the stage to open the second edition of the much-publicised Awards with an electrifying performance. But many were quick to forget that performance.

It was the number of times the artiste, born Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr, climbed the staged after that performance that got social media buzzing.

Apart from being the first to perform, Shatta Wale became the first artiste to win an award this year. His ‘Gringo’ song was adjudged the ‘Viral Song of the Year’. The floodgates were opened after that and the dancehall act’s awards sweep fest begun.

The ‘My Level’ hit singer went on to bag ‘Reggae/Dancehall Song of the Year’, ‘Reggae/Dancehall Act of the Year’, ‘Digital Act of the Year’, ‘Video of the Year’ with his ‘Gringo’ smash hit doing the magic trick for him on all occasions.

His strong unflinching fan base - Shatta Movement - was adjudged ‘Fan Army of the Year’ while his smash hit, ‘My Level’ picked up the award for ‘Song of the Year’.

After picking up the ‘Reggae/Dancehall Act of the Year’ award, Shatta Wale sought solace in the Bible by quoting: “So God said in Philippians 4:19 that...’my God shall supply all my needs according to His riches and glory in Christ Jesus…’”

He was however overwhelmed by emotions when he was called to receive the ‘Video of the Year’ award. He left the stage in tears after saying: “Daddy wherever you are I want to dedicate this to you man.”

When he was announced as the last award recipient of the night ‘Music Man of the Year (Male Act of the Year), a fulfilled Shatta Wale in his acceptance speech said, “when I say Shatta Movement, say for life…Father God, I thank you for this award. I thank you for this long journey, I have been in this industry for over 15 years now, I’ve never picked the ‘Man of the Year’ like this but I thank God that I’m standing here today and I have the strength and it’s all about wisdom and understanding…”

Even though he dominated, the 2019 edition of the 3Music Awards, which was live on Joy Prime and was in partnership with The Multimedia Group - Joy FM, Hitz FM, Joy Prime and other brands, saw other deserving artistes walk home with awards.

Stonebwoy, perhaps one act many were looking forward to slugging it out with Shatta Wale for who reigns supreme on the night, won three awards on the night.

The dancehall act, who was not present at the Awards, was no match for Shatta Wale. At the end of hostilities, the Ashaiman-based act won ‘Afrobeats Song of the Year’ for ‘Bawasaaba’, ‘Album of the Year’, for ‘Epistles of Mama’ and ‘Most Streamed Artiste on Boomplay’ award.

Talented young act Kuami Eugene was adjudged ‘Highlife Act of the Year’ while his smash hit ‘Wish Me Well’ won ‘Highlife Song of the Year’.

Gospel group Bethel Revival Choir won the hearts of many. Apart from their beautiful blend of traditional and modern melodies, the group was duly rewarded for their exploits.

Bethel Revival Choir took home three awards on the night. The group won ‘Gospel Song of the Year’, ‘Gospel Act of the Year’ and ‘Group of the Year’.

The most touching award on the night went to legendary gospel musician Prof. Kofi Abraham. His Legendary Award was very crucial considering the fact that he has been doing music since the 1970s and with over 30 albums to his credit, this is first award/recognition.

Veteran highlife musician Obuoba J.A. Adofo and music producer Mark Okraku Mantey also received Honorary Awards.

The 2019 3Music Awards, which had Lexis Bill and Cookie as hosts and Andy Dosty behind the turntables, also witnessed some impressive performances.

Apart from Shatta Wale, the event witnessed performances from Cina Soul, Kofi Mole, Bethel Revival Choir, Medikal, Akwaboah Jnr, Adina, Wendy Shay, Victor AD, La Meme Gang, Joey B, Rocky Dawuni and Samini.

Akuapem Poloo's baby daddy angry; threatens to take their son from her - Watch video

A man claiming to be the father of Rosemond Brown’s son has threatened to take him from her. According to the man who sounded and looked worried, he was disappointed in Rosemond Brown for grossly misbehaving on social media.

He said he was very sad that Brown decided to choose a ‘silly’ name Akuapem Poloo to disgrace herself on social media for fame. The man revealed that he had traveled to work to enhance the lives of Brown and their son, adding that the now noisy Akuapem Poloo was never like she is now.

According to him, because of her quest for fame on social media, Rosemond Brown could not make time for their son. Therefore, he would claim the boy and look after him himself.

“How could you choose a silly name like Akuapem Poloo? You were decent and very quiet but now look at you.” “By grace, you have a son, a fine boy for me. I traveled to look for money to enhance our lives only for you to turn to social media to start fooling,” the baby daddy complained in the Twi language.

“As for my son, I am going to claim him and look after him myself,” he added angrily. Meanwhile, Brown, in one of her many interviews revealed that he had her son with a man she found in Accra after she came to the city to look for job.

She revealed that she was no longer with the baby daddy but was very grateful to him for taking care of her.

Gay pastor arrested for infecting underage boys with HIV

Prince Chizemdere Ezuma, the founder of Jesus Intervention Household Ministry, Ejigbo, Lagos, has been arrested for allegedly sodomising, prostituting and infecting underage boys with HIV virus.

According to Thenation, he was arrested at his residence after an informant notified the police he had resurfaced, three months after he was declared wanted.

It was gathered that the suspect climbed his ceiling where he hid for over two hours to evade arrest when detectives stormed his home few days ago.

The suspect was declared wanted after an alleged male prostitute, Prince Chinecherem, was arrested and charged to court after a 16-year-old victim, Anthony Ikem, made revelations that implicated them.

Ikem, who was found sneaking out of the suspect’s home with a polythene bag containing used condoms and other items, was accosted by neighbours and he confessed he was one of several sex partners of the pastor.

Ikem also confirmed that the Ezuma usually gave them to service some of his male clients including VIPs. The teenager was taken to the hospital for checks and it was discovered he was HIV+.

It was gathered that some residents of the community were worried he was corrupting their male children and initiating them into the club, hence, their keen interest to see that he was arrested and prosecuted.

Findings revealed that Ezuma was moved to the Gender Section at the Police Command Ikeja, yesterday afternoon, following pressure from certain quarters in the division to release him.

In his confessional statement to the police, Ezuma claimed he usually paid the boys N2,000 for sex. Investigation showed that he brought about 15 boys into his apartment where he forcefully penetrated them all through the anus.

“The reverend confirmed he is HIV+ and has been receiving treatment for over three years. So, he knew he was HIV positive and still infected his victims and clients with it,” said a source.

Pastor Alph Lukau lands in ‘BIG TROUBLE’ again as man ”cured” of HIV, dies after failing to take his drugs

As indicated by reports, the family of a dead man has  come forward to express their displeasure, claiming that the man Zakhele, by name  dead after he trusted that disputable South African based prophet, Pastor Alph Lukau had healed  him of HIV.

Speaking with reporters, Nomthandazo Ndaba said her brother , Zakhele, quit taking his HIV drug after Pastor Alph Lukau laid

his hands on him. Lukau  made headlines just last month after he asserted that he had raised a Zimbabwean man from the dead in spite of the fact that he later withdrawn the statement and blamed the family for the “dead man” of making a sham of a miracle

According to Ndaba, her late sibling was a ‘staunch supporter’ of Lukau’s Alleluia Ministries Church which he participated fervently in 2016. She included that notwithstanding when Zakhele was ill, he would go to each service  regardless his health, not skipping one.

She went on to say that two months before his death, the family got a visit from home-based care workers who wanted to know why Zakhele was no longer showing up at the clinic to collect his medicine.

Despite being counselled and advised to take his medication, Zakhele refused to listen to the care-workers insisting that he had been cured. He died in December at the age of 34.

A video from the church supports the narrative as it shows Zakhele lying on a hospital bed with Pastor Lukau praying for him.

After the prayers, he starts walking around and a message appears which reads: “He’s healed of TB, diabetes and HIV.”

However, Alleluia Ministries International church’s spokesperson, Busi Gaca, denied that Zakhele had healed saying

I have a girlfriend but we don't have sex – Joe Mettle reveals

Award-winning gospel musician, Joe Mettle has in a very Pentecostal manner revealed that even though he is currently in a very serious relationship, he has never engaged in any form of sexual and romantic activity with his future Mrs.

According to him, his religion as a Christian, a staunch one at that and the fact that he has not paid for the bride price of the lady to the family traditionally, forbids him from even conceiving the idea of engaging in any activity that is even close to intimacy with her.

Joe Mettle

The “Bo Noo Ni” hitmaker also revealed in a very hilarious manner that he is coping quite well when he was asked by Nana Romeo in the interview they had on Accra FM’s mid-morning show what he did anytime he felt the desire and urge to quench the firey needs of the physical body.

He stressed that having the desire to have sex is something God in his wisdom added as a part of the human being and as such, he believes it is not wrong for one to have the desire to engage in it.

Joe, however, in a very quick manner added that since he had been able to effectively abstain after he became a born again Christian, he will survive until he settles down with this lady very soon.

Shatta Wale beg Ghanaians to stop insulting him with 'sweet' words

Only Kuami Eugene has authentic Ghanaian rhythm – Akatakyie

Prince Kwabena Budu Asamani (Kobby Culture) and Ebenezer Kwasi Okyere Asamani (Pharoah) of the Akatakyie duo, have said that Ghanaian musicians have lost the Ghanaian rhythm in their songs except for Kuami Eugene.

The ‘Odo Esisime’ hitmakers told Prince Benjamin on Class91.3FM on Friday, 22 March 2019 that they are impressed with the works of Kuami Eugene, Kidi and others.

“We are very much impressed with the kind of artistes like Kidi, Kuami Eugene, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, Sarkodie and Eddy Kay himself, I mean we love them so much, they are doing fantastic, though we lost a little of the rhythm of Ghanaian thing in their songs, apart from Kuami Eugene,” Pharoah told host Prince Benjamin.

“But I think as time goes on, things are going to change, so, we love what they are doing, they should keep it up. Kuami Eugene is on the line, he is doing Ghanaian music, not typical Ghanaian highlife music but he is in the highlife mood and I think he can do better than what he is doing now,” he added.

Queen Peezy who confirmed reports that she wept like a baby because she was heart-broken said she contacted Patapaa right after seeing the videos online but all he could say was that he will be returning to Ghana by ending of March hence will explain everything to her.

I don't care whether Patapaa comes back to me or not – Ghana girlfriend

Gabriella Kotey, the young lady who was recently outdoored as Queen Peezy by the boss of the Patupa Army, Patapaa, in a rather quick turn of events has put her life back on track after videos and pictures of her went viral yesterday, March 27, that she was admitted at the hospital because she had a broken heart.

In an exclusive interview she had with Nana Romeo on Accra FM’s mid-morning show earlier today, March 27, she stated emphatically that she was not broken-hearted again.

She revealed that the pictures and videos which emerged yesterday were actually hers but it was so because of the shock she had after she sighted the video of her boo, Patapaa and the German woman romancing in far away abroad.

Queen Peezy also told Nana Romeo in the video available to zionfelix.net that she is not perturbed and worried anymore. Adding that it is no longer a concern to her if Patapaa decides to come back to her or not.

The only thing she will do should the ‘One Corner’ hitmaker decide to continue his romantic relationship with this white woman will be to him back the promise he gave her not long ago.

She also in a rather surprising note revealed that their relationship did not even have the full backing of some members of her family and as such, she feels it is even for the best that this has happened.
