Taking graceful steps, he dances to MzVee’s ‘Come and see my mother’, as others around him also exhibit their dancing skills. The content of the video did not go down well with Dr Apaak who wondered by the president could be having fun, in the face of the challenges Ghana is currently facing.

“Our president finds time to party in a club in these difficult times! Is this what he is borrowing for? See how NADAA dey bogie as Ghanaians dey suffer!”, the post on his wall read. His comments follow remarks by President Akufo-Addo that his government will continue to borrow to ensure that projects are executed.

Manchester United Ready to Back Mourinho with £100m-Plus in January.

José Mourinho will be backed in January to strengthen Manchester United if the right deal is possible in what can be a difficult transfer window for finding value.

The manager wants a central defender and goalscoring forward after trying unsuccessfully to sign one of each in the summer.

More than £100m is potentially available. Mourinho was interested in Real Madrid’s Raphaël Varane before the start of the season and United were prepared to pay that level of money for the 25-year-old had the transfer been possible. The same degree of finance remains.

Leicester City’s Harry Maguire and Bayern Munich’s Jérôme Boateng were two other Mourinho targets at centre-back but United declined to pursue them as the board did not believe either was an upgrade. This caused the manager some disquiet and it is understood he will be supported in the winter window should a player who can improve the squad become available.

Shatta Wale again throws fresh shade at Sarkodie.

Sarkodie’s mum would cry if i reply to his diss song, Shatta Wale claims.

Dancehall heavyweight Shatta Wale has finally stated emphatically that he would not reply Sarkodie’s diss song to him since it would be very bad that would even make his mum cry and beg him to stop doing music.

Shatta Wale this morning was locked up in an interview with Joy Fm where the host of the Super Morning Show asked him why he was yet to respond to Sarkodie’s song “Advice” which was directed him.

In his response, Shatta Wale said firstly Sarkodie beefing with him was a mistake since he(Shatta) is a dancehall artiste and Sarkodie is a rapper so he should have better look for a rapper to beef.

The “Gringo” hitmaker also added that should he in case reply Sarkodie then it means his(Sark) mum was going to shed tears and rather advise her son to stop doing music.

He said: ‘SARKODIE COMING TO DISS SHATTA WALE DOESN’T MAKE SENSE. IF I REPLY SARKODIE, HIS MOTHER WILL COME AND BEG ME TO STOP THE MUSIC. SHE’LL BEG FOR HIM. SARKODIE IS A VERY SMALL BOY FOR ME. HE’S MY JUNIOR WHEN I WAS IN MUSIC. I LOVE SARK’S TALENT, BUT HE’S SO HYPOCRITICAL. HE NEEDS TO BE HUMBLE. THEY ARE FAKING IT. IN GHANA’S HISTORY, NO ARTISTE HAS EVER COME UP THE WAY I HAVE. IT IS HISTORY AND GHANAIANS SHOULD JUST ACCEPT IT. IF SARK AND I ARE EVER GOING TO PATCH UP, HE WILL HAVE TO APOLOGIZE ON AIR FIRST. SARK WILL HAVE TO ADMIT THAT HE DIDN’T KNOW WHAT HE WAS DOING WHEN HE DISSED ME. I’LL TAKE IT LIKE THAT AND JUST TAKE HIM BACK IF HE DOES.’

The U.S.-Saudi relationship is worth preserving — but not under the current terms.

Aaron David Miller, a former Middle East analyst at the State Department and adviser in Republican and Democratic administrations, is a vice president and director of the Middle East program at the Woodrow Wilson Center. Richard Sokolsky is a nonresident senior fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. From 2005 to 2015, he was a member of the secretary of state’s Office of Policy Planning.

The late John McCain was fond of saying that American values and interests are one and the same. He would have been all over Saudi Arabia like a cheap suit pressing for tough action in response to the brutal murder of Jamal Khashoggi, a Post contributing columnist.

McCain would also have conceded that the United States has important interests in Saudi Arabia. Unfortunately, the Trump administration has compromised these interests by enabling and placating a reckless Saudi leader. If Khashoggi’s killing is to have any lasting meaning and impact, it should offer up both a moment of clarity and a warning to the Trump administration to restore reciprocity and balance to a relationship that’s now out of control.

Despite significant differences over the years — including Saudi support and export of an extreme brand of Islam — the U.S.-Saudi alliance has survived because it was cemented by common interests and goals. Ever since Franklin Delano Roosevelt met with Abdul Aziz ibn Saud, the founder of the modern Saudi state in 1945, the United States has had a stake in the security and stability of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf, and in ensuring the free flow of oil through the Strait of Hormuz. In recent decades, Saudi Arabia emerged as an important security partner that supported the U.S. campaign to push Saddam Hussein out of Kuwait and supported American objectives in containing Iran and combating terrorism.

The U.S. relationship with Saudi Arabia is therefore worth preserving — but not under current circumstances or at any price. In the past two years, the Trump administration has allowed the dynamic to slip out of our control into the hands of the inexperienced, overly ambitious and reckless Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, who has not only taken U.S. support for granted but also exploited it to pursue policies that fundamentally undermine American interests and values.

The de facto ruler of Saudi Arabia has left a trail of failed and feckless policies abroad with which the Trump administration is now linked: the kidnapping of the Lebanese prime minister, the prosecution of a disastrous war in Yemen that has become the world’s greatest humanitarian disaster, and an ill-conceived boycott of Qatar that has made it more difficult to form a united Gulf state front against Iran and, like the war in Yemen, has only enhanced Iranian influence.

At home, under the cover of several important social and economic reforms (including the decision to allow women to drive and a crackdown on the religious police) MBS has shown a darker and ruthless side — brooking no dissent; arresting journalists, civil society bloggers and women activists from the driving campaign; and imprisoning and bilking wealthy Saudis in the “shaikhdown” at the Ritz-Carlton.

The killing of Khashoggi reflects the culmination of a pattern of destructive MBS policies that the Trump administration has either ignored, enabled or supported through acquiescence or silence. Worse still, the president and his son-in-law Jared Kushner’s approach to Saudi Arabia has been based on magical thinking. Far from being a catalyst in containing Iran or taking a lead role in Israeli-Palestinian peacemaking, MBS’s policies in Qatar and Yemen have enlarged Tehran’s room to maneuver.

King Salman had to walk back his son’s enthusiastic support for the president’s peace plan. The administration might very well get some Saudi help to dampen upward pressure on oil prices when new U.S. sanctions on Iran remove oil from the market, but this will surely benefit Saudi Arabia and is anchored in Saudi Arabia’s own national interest.

Your Gold chain is not 24 Karat – Knust student tells Shatta Wale.

“Gringo” hitmaker and self-acclaimed Dancehall King inna da whole Ghana, Shatta Wale recently showed off a gold chain which he claims was a 24 karat and given him by two of his White fans identified as Talal and Aboude.

However, Shatta Wale after receiving the 24karat chain from his white friends sent a message to Sarkodie and his fans that, his[Sarkodie] whole brand new Range Rover Vogue is now on his neck meaning his 24karat gold chain amounts to the money Sarkodie used to buy his new Range Rover Vogue.

But reacting to this a KNUST Metal student known as Osabarima Nana Atta Kwasi made it known in a comment section that the chain Shatta has can never be a 24 karat Gold since 4-Karat Gold is pure gold and pure golds are soft which no Gold Smith can work on unless he adds another metal in a process called “alloying” which makes the Gold hard to enable them to work on it.

According to him, looking at the chain from a KNUST metal student perspective the chain is 8 Karat and not 24 as Shatta Wale claims.

Shatta Wale’s album has been listed in the Billboard World Charts and the reason for this new fate is because the new album from the “Forgetti” hitmaker performing well on other digital platforms it has been listed.

Remember some Ghanaians after the release of the album called the album as “wack” and this news would be exciting to his fans who someway felt disappointed in the album.

Shatta’s rival Stonebwoy after the release of his ‘Epistles of Mama’ album also made it’s way to Billboard a week.

‘Reign’ is currently on number 6 at the time of this post, and it could rise or fall depending on several factors, but most importantly if it’s getting more streams and purchases, it would perform much better and stay long in the charts.

Michael Owusu Addo popularly known by his stage name Sarkodie put up a charged performance at the Glo mega music show which came off yesterday, 20th October 2018 at the fantasy dome in Trade fair, Accra.

Among the back to back hits, the star performer gave the audience during his performance, the one that took the dome by storm was when DJ Mensah dropped his hit song “megye wo girl” which he collaborated with controversial dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale.

As it stands, you will be right to say there is a tension between the Sarkodie’s Sarknation camp and Shatta Wale’s Shatta movement. So a mention of the names in any of the camps will bring either an excitement, booing or mixed reactions— but the former prevailed in this case. The crowd went wild when it got to the hook in the song that has Shatta Wale mentioning his name—chanting the name and singing along from word to word.

Sarkodie in the middle of his thrilling performances also introduced on stage social media sensational up and coming artiste Supa Ghana 2pac.

As usual, in his well-known antics — Supa was gallivanting on the stage as Sarkodie continued to entertain the crowd.

Neymar happy not to face Messi with Brazil.

Lionel Messi has not featured for Argentina since the World Cup and Neymar is pleased Brazil will not have to deal with him on Tuesday.Neymar is pleased Brazil will not have to go up against Lionel Messi when they take on Argentina in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday.

Messi was not included in Lionel Scaloni's squad for the second successive set of internationals as speculation over his Argentina future in the wake of a disappointing World Cup campaign rumbles on.

Neymar acknowledged the absence of his former Barcelona team-mate is a blow for the spectators watching the game, but he feels it gives Brazil a greater chance of overcoming their rivals.

However, the Paris Saint-Germain star was keen to emphasise that Argentina still possess great quality, singling out Paulo Dybala as an example of the talent in their ranks.

"For those who love football, having Messi out of a game like this is bad. But for us it's good," Neymar told a pre-match news conference. "We never underestimate Argentina's quality, the players they have in their squad.

"Argentina have Dybala, who is a player that I really like, so we have to be switched on.

"It's a very difficult game. We will have to do our job and it's always good to play them. There are no favourites."

The 26-year-old, who assisted Gabriel Jesus and Alex Sandro in Friday's 2-0 win over Saudi Arabia, enjoys the playmaking aspect of the role and is open to any demands placed upon him.

"I think, depending on the match, it might be necessary to change the position a little, but that's the decision of the coach, not me," said Neymar.

"In Paris, I've been playing centrally and here, Tite gives me more freedom, not only to stay in the centre but also up front.

"Over the years a player will look for their best position … it is part of football, but I think I still have a lot to give.

"The more you play, the more experience you have and will know the time to decide a match or go forward. I know how to do this on the pitch and I know my role.

"I am an attacker on my team, a playmaker. Not just me, but also [Philippe] Coutinho, [Roberto] Firmino, Lucas [Moura], [Gabriel] Jesus – we are there to create chances, to set up our team-mates.

"I'm happy, I do not run away from any responsibility on the pitch. I look to dribble, create opportunities."
